Palmer Lays Out School Bond For Voters

(Palmer, NE) - The last time the Palmer school district had a school bond vote was in 1994. Now in 2024, the voters will decide if the district needs to move forward with some urgent facility needs. The Palmer Board of Education has put forth a school bond election in the amount of $13,995,000. The school board is looking to improve safety and security. Add classrooms. Expand and better locate the community library and add a second gymnasium. This election will be an election by mail. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters at the address on his or her registration the week of February 19. All ballots must be returned before 5 p.m. on March 12, 2024, within a sealed Return Identification Envelope to your respective county election office.
