Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Host on-air voice-tracked shows (formats CHR, Country, Classic Country, and New Rock), delivering entertaining content and engaging with the audience.
  • Assist with news, weather, and other relevant updates and stories.
  • Conduct interviews with guests, celebrities, and community members.
  • Operate broadcast equipment and ensure a seamless on-air experience. This may include sports play-by-play and color commentary.

Requirements:

GI Family Radio seeks a self-motivated salesperson to join our team. If you have a passion for success and enjoy working with others, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

As an advertising account executive, you'll need to:

  • Achieve Revenue Goals.
  • Prospect local businesses.
  • Meet with clients to discuss and identify their advertising needs.
  • Create an advertising campaign that meets the client's needs.
  • Present the campaign ideas to the client.
  • Present creative work to clients for approval or modification.
  • Undertake administrative tasks and arrange and attend meetings.
  • Collect any outstanding invoices.

Working Hours

  • A typical week will run from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. However, you'll often be expected to start the day early or stay late in order to meet deadlines.
  • Weekend work is rare. However, there are a few events you will be required to help with.

What to Expect

  • You will handle multiple accounts and will deal with different types of business owners with different needs.
  • You will spend most of your day traveling from business to business, talking with clients within the working day.
  • You will spend time creating advertising campaigns and presenting them to clients.
  • You will work with clients to create commercials for their business.
  • The working environment is a business professional, and a business dress code is the norm.

Qualifications
