An information only meeting concerning an accident, illness, or the death of a loved one is open to the public, and will be held Tuesday, October 2nd, 7:00pm at the KC Hall located at 308 East 9th St, McCook.  Guest Speakers will include two personal bankers from MNB, Attorneys Paul and Emily Wood, retired Insurance Agent Larry Eisenmenger, Carpenter Breland Funeral home, Tim and Kristi Daum, Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel Jim Jones and Donna Hall.  Please be prepared to take notes.

Chain will be formed along “B” Street in McCook Nebraska.

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful witness of Christians and pro-life

with abortion in an effort to bring back respect for life.

Regional Tire Cleanup for Southwest Nebraska.

This free event will be held October 15 thru October 20, 2018, from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the McCook
Transfer Station, 1801 West Old Highway 6 & 34. TIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER STATION UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT.
Only tires from Southwest Nebraska, including, Dundy, Hitchcock, Red Willow, Furnas, Chase, Hayes, and Frontier counties will be accepted. Please have proof of address with
you. A maximum of 500 tons has been allowed for this site. Therefore, anyone with more than 100 tires are asked to call the McCook Transfer Station before participating. Tires can be dropped off on a first come first serve basis. The event will end when the maximum quantity has been reached. Tire retailers are not eligible to bring tires to this cleanup. Tires only, NO RIMS. Tires must be brought to the Transfer Station. Bring tires to the Scale Clerk at the Transfer Station for check-in. This tire cleanup is made possible through a Scrap Tire Cleanup Grant from the
Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.
